Wedding Facilities
-Up to 120 people wedding packages in Frederick’s and our reception room
-Up to 200 people wedding packages under the tent

All catering at Beachwood is prepared by Frederick’s restaurant

Reservations, deposits, cancellations, check in, check out times:

To reserve a deposit of 50% per unit is required upon booking
Check in time begins at 3 p.m.
Check out time – Spring, Fall and Winter is 11 a.m., Summer is 10 a.m.
Cancellation – deposit is refundable if advised 60 days prior to arrival. A $100 administration fee per unit applies to all rental units.
if cancelled within 60 days of arrival and we can re-rent the unit your deposit is refundable less $100, if we cannot re-rent the unit the deposit is forfeited

-What is in a fully equipped kitchen? stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker with filters, dishes, pots, pans, silverware, tea towel, dish cloth, dish detergent, cups, glasses, measuring cup, serving bowls, knives, cutting board
-Drinking water comes from two wells located on the property. The water is excellent to drink and is tested regularly.
-Bring your own cup – water filling station is located in the lobby or from your own tap, bring your travel mugs for take out coffee
-Linen is provided for all units at all times.
-Towel service is not included unless:
included if staying in the main lodge regardless of plan type
included if you have a 2 meal/day plan in any unit unless otherwise specified
included if purchased as an add-on to your self catering accommodations

-Bring your own beach towels
-Resort facilities such as water playground, canoes, kayaks, etc – are for use by registered guests
-Guest laundry facilities – wash = 2 loonies, dry = 8 quarters

Pets, pets, we love our pets

-During the summer as well as with events and group bookings we are pet free.
-During quieter times of year we welcome pets in paw friendly units. Generally from November to April. Please inquire at time of booking as these units are limited
-Local kennel information available

Smoking Policy

-All units are non-smoking. Smoking and vaping of any product are prohibited inside all buildings and within 50ft of all multi-unit dwellings except in designated areas.

Our resort prioritizes the health, safety, and comfort of all our guests and staff. In line with our commitment to providing a welcoming and enjoyable environment, we have established the following policy regarding the use of marijuana:

  1. Smoking marijuana is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the resort, including guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, and other enclosed spaces.
  2. Designated smoking areas for marijuana may be provided in outdoor areas of the resort. Guests must use these designated areas if they wish to smoke marijuana outdoors. Please inquire at the front desk for the locations of these areas.
  3. Guests are responsible for ensuring that their smoking of any kind does not disturb other guests or infringe upon their enjoyment of the resort.
  4. Guests found violating this policy may be subject to fines, eviction from the resort, and/or legal action, depending on the severity of the offense and in accordance with local laws.
  5. This policy applies to all guests, regardless of whether smoking, vaping or marijuana use is legal in their place of residence or travel. It is the responsibility of each guest to familiarize themselves with and abide by this policy.
